The Executive Office of the President (EOP) provides the President and White House senior staff with policy advice, administrative and operational support, and coordination across the federal government to develop and implement the administration's domestic, economic, national security, and regulatory agendas.
Advises and coordinates on a wide range of legislative and regulatory matters, including domestic policy, economic and budgetary priorities, national security and foreign policy, regulatory review and implementation, judicial and executive appointments, and the administration's legislative strategy and communications.
Funded through federal government appropriations enacted by Congress (taxpayer-funded).
Includes components such as the White House Office, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), National Security Council (NSC), Council of Economic Advisers (CEA), Domestic Policy Council, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and senior officials including the President, White House Chief of Staff, National Security Advisor, OMB Director, and White House Press Secretary.
