About the Organization

Far West Agribusiness Association (FWAA) is a regional trade association founded in 1959 that represents agribusiness retailers, manufacturers, and distributors of fertilizer, crop protection products, and other agricultural inputs across Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, and Washington. Its mission is to enhance the business and safety environment for the fertilizer and agrichemical industry through legislative advocacy, regulatory guidance, safety training, and educational programs.

Policy Goals

Agricultural and environmental regulation, pesticide and fertilizer policy, farm bill and federal preemption issues, transportation and supply chain regulations, water and dam management policy, and workforce safety and certification standards affecting agribusiness.

Funding

Membership dues, conference and training fees, sponsorships, and industry contributions.

Affiliates

Member companies include BASF Corporation, Bayer CropScience, Corteva Agriscience, CHS Inc., J.R. Simplot Company, Helena Agri-Enterprises, and other regional agricultural retailers and manufacturers; affiliated with the Far West Agribusiness PAC.
