About the Organization

The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit professional association founded in 1977 that represents tens of thousands of federal law enforcement officers across more than 60 agencies. FLEOA provides legal representation and member services, and serves as a national advocacy and lobbying voice for federal officers on pay, benefits, safety, training, and operational policies.

Policy Goals

Typically advances legislation and administrative positions on federal officer pay and benefits, legal and disciplinary representation, officer safety and health (including equipment and training), funding and resourcing for federal law enforcement agencies, and public-safety or investigative authorities and policies that affect federal investigators and agents.

Funding

Primarily funded through member dues, corporate sponsorships and partnerships, event and program revenue, donations, and support from the associated FLEOA Foundation.

Affiliates

FLEOA Foundation; formal participation on bodies such as the DHS Federal Law Enforcement Advisory Board and the Congressional Badge of Bravery Federal Board; engagement with the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and other law enforcement organizations; membership drawn from agencies including the FBI, DEA, ATF, CBP, ICE, USMS, Secret Service, TSA, BOP and IRS-CI; past leaders include Jon Adler, Larry Cosme, and Mathew Silverman.
