Florida Voices for Health (FVH) is a Florida-based nonprofit coalition that gathers and amplifies firsthand health care stories to advance more accessible, affordable, and equitable health and oral health policy. FVH uses community engagement, storytelling, grassroots organizing, and legislative advocacy to elevate the experiences of low- and moderate-income, rural, disability-affected, and historically underserved Floridians in state and federal policy debates.
Works on Medicaid strengthening and expansion efforts, access to affordable coverage and enrollment (ACA navigator support), oral health access and workforce/coverage reforms, disability access and accommodations, rural health access, and community-centered health equity policies.
Primarily funded through philanthropic and foundation grants, charitable donations, and project-specific grant awards (including grants from national health foundations), supplemented by event sponsorships and small donor support.
Florida Oral Health Alliance (FOHA), Disability Rights Florida, community health and navigator groups across Florida, and philanthropic partners such as the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health; collaborates with local advocacy organizations, health providers, and civic coalitions.
Non-profit (501(c)(3) coalition and advocacy organization)
