Florida Family Rights Coalition

About the Organization

An ad-hoc coalition of civil rights, community and advocacy groups in Florida formed to oppose legislation restricting the application of foreign or religious law in state courts. The coalition’s stated purpose is to defend religious freedom, protect minority and immigrant communities from discriminatory laws, and preserve civil liberties and separation of church and state in family and court proceedings.
