The Florida House of Representatives Higher Education Budget Subcommittee is a standing subcommittee of the Florida House responsible for developing and overseeing the House’s budget proposals for the state’s higher education system. The subcommittee reviews funding for state universities, Florida College System institutions, financial aid programs, capital outlay projects, and other postsecondary education initiatives as part of the annual General Appropriations Act process.
