About the Organization

The Food Systems Leadership Network (FSLN) is a national peer learning community that connects current and emerging leaders working to build a just, equitable, and sustainable food system in the United States. Founded in 2018, the network strengthens individual and collective leadership capacity, fosters collaboration across communities, and provides resources, mentorship, and training to accelerate transformation of the food system so it generates good food, health, and opportunity for all.

Policy Goals

Food systems reform, sustainable agriculture, racial equity in food access, local and regional food development, food value chain coordination, community food systems, and leadership development initiatives related to agriculture and food policy

Funding

Philanthropic foundation grants, sponsorships, and member-supported funding administered through its nonprofit fiscal sponsor

Affiliates

Multiplier, Wallace Center at Winrock International, National Good Food Network, and a national Leadership Council composed of food systems practitioners
