The Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL) is the national public policy lobbying organization of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). FCNL mobilizes Quakers and allied grassroots advocates to influence U.S. federal policy in support of peace, nonviolence, human rights, economic and racial justice, immigration reform, and environmental sustainability.
Peace and disarmament, U.S. foreign policy grounded in diplomacy and human rights, criminal justice reform and alternatives to incarceration, immigration and refugee policy, voting rights and civil rights, climate and environmental justice, federal budget and tax justice, and reductions in military spending.
Primarily individual donations from Quakers and supporters, contributions from Quaker meetings and religious organizations, foundation grants, and institutional fundraising (including an affiliated educational fund and endowment support).
FCNL Education Fund (its 501(c)(3) educational arm), American Friends Service Committee, Friends General Conference, Friends United Meeting, local Quaker meetings and regional Friends organizations.
