Gender Justice League is a Washington State–based civil rights nonprofit founded in 2012 that works to elevate and protect the rights of TwoSpirit, transgender, and gender diverse people. Headquartered in Seattle, the organization engages in grassroots advocacy, impact litigation, leadership development, and direct support services, including safety planning and financial assistance for survivors of gender-based violence. It also organizes Trans Pride Seattle and statewide advocacy initiatives to advance equality and safety for trans communities.
LGBTQ+ civil rights protections, anti-discrimination laws, transgender healthcare access, opposition to anti-trans ballot initiatives and legislation, public accommodations protections, transgender military service rights, survivor support services, and broader racial and economic justice policies impacting trans and gender diverse communities.
Primarily funded through grants and individual donations, supplemented by community fundraising and foundation support.
