The Georgia Bankers Association (GBA) is a non-profit trade association representing banks and thrift institutions in Georgia. GBA delivers advocacy and regulatory representation, professional education and training, industry services, and member programs designed to support community and commercial banking and strengthen the state’s financial system.
Advocacy on state and federal banking regulation and supervision; consumer and commercial finance rules; payments, fintech and stablecoin policy; tax and economic development issues affecting banks; community and rural banking support; workforce development and professional education for bankers; cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and compliance matters.
Primarily funded by membership dues from Georgia banks and financial institutions, supplemented by revenue from conferences, training programs, sponsorships, and fees for insurance and retirement services offered to members.
