About the Organization

Grassroots Environmental Education is a science-based environmental health nonprofit that educates the public and decision makers about the health risks of common environmental exposures and advocates for cleaner air, water, and safer consumer and community environments.

Policy Goals

Environmental health, chemical safety, air and water quality, pesticide regulation, fracking, wireless radiation, plastic pollution, synthetic turf, food systems, and other public health and environmental protection issues.

Funding

Primarily supported by charitable donations, foundation grants, and contributions from supporters.

Affiliates

Programs and initiatives associated with the organization include The BabySafe Project, Green Street radio show, Americans for Responsible Tech, TechSafe Schools, Long Island Water, Port Farmers' Market, Helping to Heal, and How Green Is My Town?
