About the Organization

The Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC) is a Washington, D.C.-based association that brings together CEOs and senior executives from across the U.S. healthcare sector to advocate for policy solutions that improve care, strengthen the health system, and support innovation for patients.

Policy Goals

Healthcare delivery and payment reform, Medicare and seniors’ access issues, prescription drug policy, value-based care, data interoperability, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence in health care, public health preparedness, and broader health system innovation and regulation.

Funding

Primarily funded by member dues from healthcare companies and organizations.

Affiliates

Member organizations and executives from across the healthcare sector, including hospitals, insurers, biopharmaceutical companies, health technology firms, medical device companies, academic health centers, and provider organizations; current leadership includes President and CEO Maria Ghazal.
