Heritage Action for America is a national conservative advocacy organization founded in 2010 as the political advocacy arm of The Heritage Foundation. Its mission is to advance public policies based on principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.
Heritage Action typically supports legislation related to tax reduction, deregulation, border security and immigration enforcement, energy development, national defense, election integrity, and opposition to expansive federal spending and social welfare programs.
Primarily funded through private donations from individuals, foundations, and conservative donors.
Affiliated with The Heritage Foundation and works closely with conservative grassroots activists and allied policy organizations.
