The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is the largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization in the United States, dedicated to achieving equality and advancing the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people through advocacy, education, and public policy initiatives.
HRC advocates for federal, state, and local legislation that protects LGBTQ+ individuals from discrimination in employment, housing, healthcare, education, and public accommodations; supports marriage equality and family recognition; promotes transgender rights; advances HIV/AIDS prevention and healthcare access; and opposes policies it views as discriminatory toward LGBTQ+ communities.
