Humboldt County Growers Alliance (HCGA) is a member-based trade association representing Humboldt County’s legal cannabis businesses. Its mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance Humboldt County’s cannabis industry through advocacy, public relations, and education.
Cannabis industry regulation, licensing, taxation, land use, environmental compliance, small business and family farm support, market development, and state/local advocacy for legal cannabis businesses.
Primarily membership dues, donations, sponsorships, and related trade-association fundraising/support from cannabis businesses and supporters.
HCGA’s leadership and board include Humboldt County cannabis farmers and industry advocates; it also operates alongside its nonprofit arm, the Humboldt Cannabis Business Development Corporation (HCBDC).
