The Idaho Bankers Association (IBA) is the statewide trade association representing commercial and community banks operating in Idaho. IBA’s mission is to support member banks through advocacy, education, information sharing, and events that strengthen the competitiveness, resiliency, and reputation of Idaho’s banking industry.
State and federal banking regulation and supervision, community banking and small-business lending issues, trust and fiduciary law, payments and fintech policy, tax and regulatory compliance affecting banks, cybersecurity and data privacy standards, and advocacy on legislation that affects deposit competition and local economic development.
Primarily membership dues from Idaho banks, event and education fees, sponsorships, and related service revenue (separate voluntary political activity is funded through the association's PAC).
