The Independent Bankers Association of New York State (IBANYS) is a trade association representing independently owned and community-based commercial banks and thrift institutions throughout New York State. Its mission is to advocate for the interests of community banks, promote sound banking practices, and ensure that independently owned financial institutions can effectively serve their local communities.
