About the Organization

The Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) is a U.S.-based nonprofit coalition of faith-based and other institutional investors, founded in 1971, that conducts shareholder advocacy, coalition organizing, and public policy engagement to promote corporate responsibility, human rights, environmental sustainability, and ethical business practices.

Policy Goals

Shareholder advocacy and corporate governance; environmental and climate policy; human rights and labor standards; supply-chain due diligence; racial and economic justice; public health and product safety; tax transparency and responsible investment practices.

Funding

Primarily funded by member dues and fees from institutional and faith-based members, supplemented by foundation grants, donations, and project-specific funding.

Affiliates

A network of member organizations that includes religious congregations and dioceses, faith-based investment managers, pension funds, foundations, and allied NGOs (commonly Catholic and Protestant religious orders, Jewish organizations, and progressive foundations and asset managers).
