The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is a labor union representing workers in aerospace, manufacturing, transportation, shipbuilding, woodworking, and other industries across the United States and Canada. Founded in 1888, the IAM advocates for fair wages, job security, workplace safety, and improved benefits for its members, and engages in collective bargaining, political advocacy, and workforce training initiatives.
