The International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots (MM&P or IOMMP) is a U.S.-based labor union representing licensed mariners and deck officers — including ship masters, mates, state pilots and mariners who work on tugs, ferries, dredges, government-crewed vessels and related U.S.-flag commercial shipping. The organization focuses on collective bargaining, professional training, safety standards and political advocacy to protect members' wages, benefits, licensing standards and working conditions.
