About the Organization

INCOMPAS (Internet and Competitive Networks Association) is a trade association that advocates for competitive, open communications networks and policies that promote choice, innovation, and investment in broadband and telecommunications. It represents the interests of competitive internet service providers, network operators, technology vendors and other stakeholders before federal and state policymakers and regulators.

Policy Goals

Advocacy for pro-competitive telecommunications and broadband policy, open internet and net neutrality principles, fair interconnection and access to rights-of-way and poles, policies that lower barriers for competitive carriers and new entrants, and regulatory reforms at the FCC and state public utility commissions to foster competition and consumer choice.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues, event sponsorships, and fees from industry members (competitive carriers, ISPs, vendors, and related professional firms).

Affiliates

Affiliated with a broad membership of competitive carriers, ISPs, network operators, technology vendors, industry trade groups and law firms; leadership and spokespeople are typically industry executives and former regulatory officials who work with allied communications and competition-focused organizations.
