The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) is the umbrella organization representing over 140 Jewish federations and more than 300 smaller communities across the United States and Canada. Its mission is to strengthen Jewish communities, support vulnerable populations, and advance Jewish values through philanthropy, advocacy, and community-building initiatives in North America and Israel.
JFNA advocates on policies related to social services funding, nonprofit security grants, combating antisemitism, support for Israel, immigration and refugee assistance, healthcare, and protections for charitable giving and religious freedom.
Primarily funded through charitable contributions raised by local Jewish federations, philanthropic donations, and community campaigns.
