The Jewish War Veterans of the USA (JWV) is a national veterans service organization that represents Jewish men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces; it advocates for veterans' benefits and health care, combats antisemitism, promotes Holocaust remembrance and civic education, and supports U.S.–Israel ties and patriotic community service.
Advocacy for veterans' benefits and VA access, military and national security issues, antisemitism and hate-crime prevention, Holocaust and civic education, support for Israel and U.S.–Israel relations, community service and veteran reintegration programs.
Primarily membership dues, individual and organizational donations, periodic grants and fundraising events, and revenue from local posts and program activities.
Local JWV posts and departments, other veterans service organizations (e.g., American Legion, VFW), Jewish communal organizations (e.g., ADL, AJC, Jewish Federations), and governmental veterans affairs offices at federal and state levels.
