About the Organization

The Kansas Association of Wheat Growers (KAWG) is a member-governed agricultural advocacy organization based in Manhattan, Kansas, representing the interests of the state’s wheat producers. It engages in state and federal legislative advocacy, advises government agencies on issues affecting wheat production, and provides grassroots leadership within the U.S. wheat industry.

Policy Goals

Federal and state agricultural policy, farm bill programs, crop insurance and commodity support programs, agricultural research funding, trade and export policy, environmental and food labeling regulations, and issues affecting wheat production and marketing.
