About the Organization

KIDS TOO is an Illinois-based child protection advocacy organization (formerly Parents Against Child Sex Abuse) founded by parents of survivors to promote safer school environments. The group develops parent-facing resources, publishes research, and lobbies for policies to prevent educator sexual misconduct, increase online safety, and strengthen parental rights in K–12 schools.

Policy Goals

Prevention of educator sexual misconduct; online safety and limits on children’s social media access; parental rights and consent for school-based mental health services; school safety, reporting and surveillance of predators; public education and survivor advocacy

Funding

Primarily grants and charitable contributions (foundation grants, corporate sponsorships and individual donors); reported grant funding from national philanthropic foundations and support from corporate sponsors and partner organizations

Affiliates

Leadership and board include Tania Haigh (President, co-founder) and Alissa McCurley Vogel (board/communications); partners and supporters have included National Center on Sexual Exploitation, The Foundation United and corporate sponsors such as Baird and other local sponsors
