The League of Women Voters of Arizona is a nonpartisan, grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering voters and defending democracy. It works to encourage informed and active participation in government, increase understanding of public policy issues, and advocate for transparent, accountable governance at the state and local levels.
Voting rights and election administration, redistricting reform, campaign finance transparency, civic education, government accountability, environmental protection, water policy, and other public policies that promote democratic participation and informed civic engagement.
Primarily funded through membership dues, individual donations, foundation grants, and fundraising events.
