The League of Women Voters of Michigan is a nonpartisan, nonprofit civic organization dedicated to empowering voters and defending democracy. It works to encourage informed and active participation in government, increase understanding of public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.
Voting rights and election administration, redistricting reform, government transparency and ethics, campaign finance reform, and other public policies related to strengthening democratic institutions and civic engagement.
Primarily funded through membership dues, individual donations, and foundation grants.
