About the Organization

Legal Planet is a law‑school‑affiliated blog produced by faculty at UCLA School of Law and UC Berkeley School of Law that provides analysis and commentary on environmental law, policy, and litigation, with particular focus on climate change, energy, natural resources, pollution control, and environmental justice.

Policy Goals

Environmental and natural‑resource policy including climate and energy regulation, federal and state environmental statutes and rulemaking, administrative law, environmental litigation, conservation and land‑use, air and water quality, and environmental justice issues.

Funding

Primarily supported by the hosting law schools (UCLA and UC Berkeley) and occasional academic grants or philanthropic donations, supplemented by volunteer contributions from faculty and scholars.
