The Louisiana Ag Industries Association (LAIA) is a statewide trade association representing agribusinesses involved in the distribution and application of seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and related agricultural services. Its mission is to promote a strong and responsible agricultural industry in Louisiana by supporting sound regulatory policy, education, and stewardship practices.
Agricultural regulation, crop protection and pesticide policy, environmental stewardship, fertilizer and nutrient management standards, transportation and logistics regulations, and state and federal policies affecting agribusiness operations.
Membership dues from agribusiness companies and industry partners, along with conference and event revenues.
