Michigan College Democrats is the state chapter of the College Democrats of America and a student-led caucus of the Michigan Democratic Party. The organization mobilizes college and university students across Michigan for voter registration, civic engagement, candidate support, policy advocacy, and leadership development to advance progressive policies and elect Democratic candidates.
Student voter registration and turnout, higher education affordability, reproductive rights, climate and environmental policy, LGBTQ+ rights, criminal justice reform, campus safety and free speech, and broader Democratic electoral and legislative priorities in Michigan.
Primarily small-dollar individual and membership donations, campus fundraising and events, occasional grants and in-kind support, and financial/organizational support from affiliated Democratic organizations.
