The Missouri Corn Growers Association (MCGA) is a grassroots organization of Missouri corn farmers founded in 1978 to increase the profitability of corn production. The association works to develop and expand markets for corn, ethanol, and corn co-products, build coalitions within agriculture and related industries, and advocate for grower interests in the governmental and legislative process at the state and federal levels.
Agricultural and farm policy, biofuels and ethanol policy, commodity checkoff programs, trade and export development, environmental and regulatory policy affecting crop production, and state and federal legislation impacting corn growers.
Primarily funded through membership dues from Missouri corn farmers, with related market development activities supported by the Missouri Corn Merchandising Council checkoff program.
