The Missouri Valley Conference is an NCAA Division I collegiate athletic conference that organizes competition among its member universities and promotes college athletics, student-athlete opportunities, and conference championships. It is the nation’s second-oldest NCAA Division I conference and is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Intercollegiate athletics governance, NCAA compliance, student-athlete welfare, sports administration, championship operations, conference scheduling, and issues affecting college sports such as eligibility, competitive integrity, and name-image-likeness related athletics policy.
Primarily funded by member institution dues, conference revenue distributions, media and sponsorship agreements, and championship/event revenues.
Member institutions include Belmont, Bradley, Drake, Evansville, Illinois Chicago (UIC), Illinois State, Indiana State, Missouri State, Murray State, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois, and Valparaiso. Key conference leadership includes Commissioner Jeff Jackson.
