About the Organization

Moms Clean Air Force is a U.S.-based grassroots advocacy network that mobilizes parents and caregivers to protect children from air pollution and the impacts of climate change. The organization builds state and local chapters, provides education and action tools, and lobbies policymakers for cleaner air, toxic-chemical protections, and equitable climate solutions focused on children’s health.

Policy Goals

Air quality and pollution regulation, climate and clean energy policy, environmental justice, protections from toxic chemicals and plastics, school-bus electrification and transportation emissions reduction, and public-health–focused environmental protections for children and communities.

Funding

Primarily individual donations and small-dollar member contributions, foundation grants and philanthropic support, plus operational affiliation and program support as a special project of the Environmental Defense Fund.

Affiliates

Environmental Defense Fund; national and state public-health and environmental groups (e.g., American Lung Association, Sierra Club, NRDC); co-founder and director Dominique Browning; public advocates and celebrity supporters who have participated in campaigns.
