The Montana Grain Growers Association (MGGA) is a statewide membership organization founded in 1956 that represents Montana wheat and barley producers. The association advocates on behalf of grain farmers at the state and federal levels and provides marketing information, education, and policy leadership to improve the profitability and long-term sustainability of Montana’s grain industry.
Agricultural and farm policy including commodity programs, crop insurance, biotechnology and crop protection regulation, agricultural research funding, state and federal taxation, trade and export policy, producer marketing tools, lien laws affecting grain transactions, and support for agricultural education and beginning farmer programs.
Membership dues from grain producers and agribusiness partners, event revenues, and related program activities.
