Mothering Justice is a grassroots, women-of-color-led organization that works to advance economic, racial, and gender justice by centering the voices and leadership of mothers, birthing people, and caregivers of color. Its policy work focuses on creating conditions for families to thrive through community organizing, leadership development, and issue education.
Reproductive justice and Black maternal health, affordable childcare, paid leave and sick time, healthcare access, basic needs security, and broader family- and caregiver-support policies.
Primarily supported through donations, grants, and other philanthropic contributions; the organization also invites public donations and community support.
