Move Past Plastic (MPP) is a grassroots environmental advocacy organization based in central Pennsylvania that works to reduce the harms of single-use plastics through education, community engagement, and policy change. It promotes practical alternatives, reuse and repair systems, and broader efforts to support a regenerative economy.
Single-use plastic reduction, plastic bag bans, local ordinances, zoning, environmental health, watershed protection, waste reduction, reuse and repair systems, and related state and local environmental legislation.
Primarily supported through its sponsoring nonprofit, TLC Education/TLC Foundation, along with member support, donations, and volunteer-driven community partnerships.
