The Music Managers Forum (MMF) is a membership organization that represents professional managers of recording artists and songwriters. It provides advocacy, policy engagement, training, best-practice guidance and networking to strengthen artist management and to protect the commercial and creative interests of managers and their artists.
Advocacy on copyright and digital/streaming remuneration, transparency of industry data and contracts, rights and ownership for artists, live-music and touring policy, diversity and inclusion in the music industry, and regulatory issues affecting music managers and independent artists.
Primarily funded by membership dues and subscriptions, income from training and events, sponsorships and occasional grants or partnerships.
Independent artist managers and member firms; industry bodies and collecting societies such as PRS for Music, PPL and the Association of Independent Music; partnerships with other music trade groups and industry stakeholders.
