The National Abortion Federation (NAF) is a professional association of abortion providers in North America dedicated to ensuring safe, legal, and accessible abortion care. It establishes clinical guidelines, provides provider training and support, and operates a hotline to assist patients seeking abortion services.
NAF advocates for policies that protect and expand access to abortion care, safeguard clinic safety and provider security, oppose restrictive abortion regulations, support public funding for reproductive health services, and uphold reproductive rights under federal and state law.
Primarily funded through membership dues, private donations, grants, and foundation support.
Affiliated with member abortion clinics and providers across the United States and Canada and works in coalition with reproductive rights organizations such as Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union.
