The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is a U.S. trade association representing home builders, remodelers, developers and related industry professionals. NAHB advocates for policies to increase housing production and affordability, promote favorable regulatory and tax environments for residential construction, advance building science and codes, and support the business interests of its members.
Residential housing production and affordability, zoning and land‑use reform, building codes and standards, federal housing finance and mortgage policy, tax and regulatory relief for builders, workforce and immigration policies affecting construction labor, infrastructure and development permitting, and insurance and liability matters affecting the residential construction industry.
Primarily funded by member dues and fees, conference and event revenue, sponsorships, training and certification programs, publications and industry services.
