About the Organization

The National District Attorneys Association (NDAA) is a national non-profit professional organization representing state and local prosecutors across the United States. Founded in 1950, its mission is to provide training, education, technical assistance, and advocacy to strengthen the criminal justice system and promote public safety.

Policy Goals

Criminal justice policy, public safety legislation, victims’ rights, prosecution standards, law enforcement collaboration, sentencing policy, juvenile justice, human trafficking, drug enforcement, and prosecutorial resources and funding.

Funding

Membership dues, federal and state grants, training program fees, conference revenue, and private donations.

Affiliates

National Center for Prosecution Ethics, National Center for Prosecution of Child Abuse, National Traffic Law Center, and state and local district attorneys’ associations.
