Its mission is to advance harm reduction policies and programs that reduce the negative consequences of drug use, prevent overdose, and address systemic inequities in healthcare and criminal justice.
The organization advocates for public health–centered drug policies, including overdose prevention initiatives, expanded access to naloxone and syringe services programs, decriminalization of drug possession, equitable substance use treatment access, HIV and hepatitis C prevention, and criminal justice reform related to drug offenses.
