About the Organization

The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice is a U.S.-based advocacy organization that advances sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice for Latinas and Latino communities through policy advocacy, leadership development, community organizing, research, and communications.

Policy Goals

Reproductive and sexual health access (including abortion and contraception), maternal and prenatal health equity, comprehensive sex education, HIV/STI prevention, immigrant and economic justice as they intersect with reproductive outcomes, and policies to address racial and gender disparities in health care.

Funding

Primarily funded by philanthropic foundations and grants, supplemented by individual donations and institutional support from allied organizations.

Affiliates

National and regional reproductive-justice and civil-rights organizations and networks such as SisterSong, Planned Parenthood affiliates, the Center for Reproductive Rights, national women’s advocacy groups, and community-based Latina-serving organizations.
