About the Organization

The National League for Nursing is the nation’s first nursing association and a leading voice for nurse faculty and leaders in nursing education. Its mission is to promote excellence in nursing education to build a strong and diverse nursing workforce and advance the health of the nation and global community.

Policy Goals

Nursing education policy, nurse workforce development, academic and lifelong learning programs in nursing, standards for nursing education, faculty development, and public policy affecting nursing education and the nurse educator workforce.

Funding

Primarily membership dues, program and service revenue, conference and educational offerings, and charitable support through the NLN Foundation.
