About the Organization

The National Leased Housing Association (NLHA) is a national trade association that represents owners, managers, and developers of federally assisted rental housing. Its mission is to preserve and improve affordable rental housing by advocating for effective public policy, promoting best practices in property management, and supporting the long-term viability of federally assisted housing programs.

Policy Goals

Affordable housing policy, federal rental assistance programs including Section 8 and project-based rental assistance, housing finance and tax policy, housing preservation, HUD program administration, and regulatory reform affecting multifamily housing providers

Funding

Membership dues, conference and event revenue, sponsorships, and industry partnerships

Affiliates

Member organizations include affordable housing owners, developers, property management companies, housing finance stakeholders, and industry partners involved in HUD-assisted housing programs
