Description: The National LGBT Cancer Network is a U.S.-based nonprofit that works to eliminate cancer-related health disparities affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people. It provides education for LGBTQ communities, trains health care providers in culturally competent care, runs peer-support and patient navigation programs, and advocates for LGBTQ inclusion in cancer research, clinical trials, data collection, and mainstream cancer organizations.
