The National LGBTQ Task Force Action Fund is the political advocacy and electoral arm of the National LGBTQ Task Force, dedicated to advancing full freedom, justice, and equality for LGBTQ+ people. It engages in legislative advocacy, grassroots organizing, and political action to influence public policy and support pro-equality candidates at the federal, state, and local levels.
The organization advocates for civil rights protections for LGBTQ+ individuals, nondiscrimination laws, transgender rights, HIV/AIDS policy reform, reproductive justice, racial justice, criminal justice reform, and broader social justice and equity-focused legislation.
Primarily funded through individual donations, political contributions, and allied philanthropic support.
