The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) is a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to achieving socially just public policy that ensures people with the lowest incomes in the United States have affordable and decent homes. Founded in 1974, the organization works through research, education, and policy advocacy to advance housing stability and expand access to affordable rental housing for low-income households.
