The National Organization of Asians and Pacific Islanders Ending Sexual Violence (NAPIESV) is a national program created by Asian and Pacific Islander anti-sexual-assault advocates to center the experiences of AAPI survivors. NAPIESV provides training, technical assistance, culturally and linguistically specific resources, and community-centered healing and wellness supports to improve services for victims of sexual violence in AAPI communities in the U.S., U.S. Pacific territories, and the Asia region.
Advocates for federal and state funding for culturally specific sexual assault and domestic violence services, language access and immigrant survivor protections, trauma-informed and survivor-centered care, community-based prevention, capacity building for AAPI-led service providers, and policies addressing intersectional harms including trafficking and racialized violence.
Primarily funded through federal grants (notably from the Office on Violence Against Women/Department of Justice) with additional support from foundation grants and philanthropic donations.
