About the Organization

National Sorghum Producers (NSP) is a farmer-led organization that represents U.S. sorghum growers and works to promote the production, profitability, and global competitiveness of sorghum. The organization advocates on behalf of producers in federal policy discussions, supports research and market development, and promotes sorghum as a food, feed, and biofuel crop.

Policy Goals

Agricultural policy, farm bill programs, crop insurance, agricultural research funding, trade and export promotion, biofuels and renewable fuels policy, conservation programs, and rural economic development

Funding

Membership dues from sorghum producers, industry partnerships, and agricultural checkoff and program support
