Founded in 1994 and based in Salt Lake City, the National Tongan American Society (NTAS) is a longstanding community nonprofit that advocates for and empowers Tongan Americans and other Pacific Islanders through civic engagement, immigration and translation assistance, public health outreach, youth development, education and scholarship programs, and cultural preservation activities such as the Friendly Islands Tongan Festival.
